Dear Catherine, I love your books. Thank you for making me laugh and bringing back fond memories of my own time in Cowichan Bay. I'm so glad we were 'liveaboard neighbours' for awhile. Thank you for sharing your wonderful wit with the world. Keep on writing! Hugs, Micki

Comments: I’ve just recently been introduced to Catherine’s writing, and really enjoy it. I am just at the beginning of a whole new life with my mate and at this point we’re in an RV while trying to find the “right” sailboat. At present we also have recently purchased our first power boat, although a sailboat is the goal. I blog about my experiences on my site. I’d love to send her a direct message. If you know of any avenue to do that I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks, and nice site…:)

Comments: My family just spent two weeks on Vancouver Island and my husband and I dreamed of getting a boat and exploring the coves and inlets between the island and the mainland. I saw your book at the General Store in Telegraph Cove and picked it up. Very entertaining. I hope much was an exaggeration because the trials and tribulations described would quell any desire to take to shipboard life. Maybe one day when the kids are gone, and I’ve acquired tremendous wealth in direct marketing we’ll return to explore the beautiful waterways and islands of British Columbia’s coast. Consider yourself lucky.

Name: Stella Giacomazzi
Comments: Catherine…I couldn’t get your e-mail to work correctly on my computer, but I seem to have received a manuscript of yours by mistake. Over two years ago, I submitted a story to Tradewind Books and never heard back. Today I received my return envelope that I assumed contained a nice rejection letter and my manuscript. Upon opening the envelope, however, I found two of your manuscripts with a nice, handwritten rejection letter to you! Looks like you sent it in to them a year ago February. Turn-around time for these folks is not terrific, is it? Anyway, I’m happy to mail it on to you, but thought the story was humorous enough to share. I wonder who got my manuscript and rejection letter? Ah, writers and publishers — the saga continues! Best of luck and cheers, Stella
